Marci Capshaw's Obituary
Marci L. Capshaw Feb. 3, 1959 - March 19, 2015 Marci was born at Tacoma General Hospital in 1959, the youngest daughter of John and Joanne Schroeder. She grew up on the north end of Tacoma with her sister, Rebecca and brother, Robert. She graduated from Wilson HS in 1977 and continued on to study psychology and elementary education at the Univ. of Puget Sound and Sacramento State Univ. in California. She then returned to the PNW, where she began her family and became a prominent figure in the local automobile industry, as her greatest passions were her family and cars. Marci and her husband, Ben, spent 35+ years together, married in 1980, and had three boys together, as well as two grandchildren. She cherished every moment she spent with her husband, boys, and grandkids. Although she left us unexpectedly at the age of 56, she will always be remembered for her jovial, outgoing personality, quick-witted remarks, sense of humor, and her over-the-top maternal nature and instincts. She had the uncanny ability to treat everyone as if they were her own kin; the unique trait of being there for you with open arms, no matter the situation, which is shown by the countless loved ones that refer to her as "Aunt Marci" or "Mom". Her spirit will always live on through her family; she is survived by her father, John Schroeder, her husband, Ben, and her three sons, Benjamin, Andrew and Johnny. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jayden and Allysia. She leaves behind her siblings, her nephew, Jason Buhl, other nephews and her niece, and an abundance of loved ones and friends. - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/tribnet/obituary.aspx?n=marci-capshaw&pid=174561796#sthash.BZvb0lnr.dpuf
