Marcella Marie Bonaro's Obituary
Marcella Marie Bonaro died at home on Sunday March 14th 2010 after an extended illness. She was born in Peawaukee, Wisconsin on February 19th, 1922.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Charles Bonaro. She will be missed by her daughters Jeannie Fowler and Lauri Blair (Dallas). Her siblings include Winnifred Cox, John Wood (Rosemary), Jim Wood, Bob Wood (Vivian); grandchildren include David Fick, Kim Torgul (Ertan), Joseph Fick, Truman Boudinot, Sophia Boudinot and great-grandson,Tristan Curtis. Other survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
She attended Jason Lee and Stadium High School and after high school was employed by the Metropolitan and volunteered at the USO. Marcella worked as a display designer at Sears & Roebuck and retired in 1982. Marcella and Chuck enjoyed golf, bowling and traveling during their retirement. Her special touches were evident in everything she did. She will be remembered as a vibrant, generous and caring individual to friends and family.
Viewing will be on Friday March 19th from 10-5 p.m. at Mountain View Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. in the Garden Chapel on Friday March 19th. Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 20th at 3p.m. in the Celebration of Life Center, Aspen Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home.
