Manley D. Welfringer's Obituary
Born December 9, 1930 in Tacoma to Manley and Jessie Welfringer. Passed away on September 3, 2005.Dale enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, clamming, scuba diving and boating. Among his childrenÂ's favorite memories were numerous hiking trips in the Olympic rainforest.Dale worked in aviation most of his life. He was in the Air Force, employed by Boeing, and Clover Park Voc. Tech Aviation program. DaleÂ's love of flying extended into his personal life as well. He was a licensed pilot and airplane inspector.He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bobby, his sister Lael Willard, his children and their spouses: Chris and Roban Welfringer, Frawn and Michael Witt, and Dana Welfringer; his 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 9, 2005 in the Mountain View Garden Chapel.In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to: Franciscan Hospice House, 2901 Bridgeport Way W, University Place, WA 98466.
