Over the many years I have known Mick, while not as intimately as many, I did know him as a kind, sweet, caring and loving husband, father and grandfather. The world was all the better for him and he will be missed, but never forgotten.

in the late 40's when the sweats lived in the big old house in steilacoom, mick pierce was "courtin'" my big sister, kitty. one 4th of july he bought fire crackers for us all. mick would put a fire cracker on an old stump in the yard. he would pick me up, let me light it, and then we'd run away real fast. i was 6 years old, but i remember it like yesterday. i have known mickey pierce my whole life. first, last and always mick was a loving and devoted family man, and i am comforted knowing that he is with his beloved andy. i miss both father ans son. may God bless kitty, pam, cheri, mark, adam, nancy and natalie. i love you all.##imported-begin##linda garcia##imported-end##
I have known Mick since 1975; 31 years. Mick was my father-in-law. He was an absolutely wonderful man who loved his family like no one I have ever met. I learned so much from him and I will miss him terribly. But he will never really be gone as far as I am concerned; he lives inside my heart.
