Mae,
How many times we would be in the store alone and we’d be chatting and you!d get the giggles, you were just so fun. You made work so fun!
A year ago our son Michael died. You were there for all the stages of his health. I couldn’t have been the mom I was without you ramping up and picking up my slack. One of our last years together you were my secret friend. You made my angel walk hanging for our Christmas reveal. I always hang her in the entry way at Christmas. I packed up my Christmas but I forgot to take her down, and I kept her up. He died in January 2924. I used the table in the entry for my mementos of him, and your angel hung over him for the whole year. I took her down this January 2025. When I put her up again Christmas I will visit the happy memories of you again. I miss you Mae, and you were awesome to work with.

Grandma....

I love and miss you so very much! I think about you all the time and just remember all the wonderful memories I have with you. You were and still are the very best Grandma in the world!!! I so badly want to believe this is all not real and that next time I come up to Washington to visit you will be there, but sadly I know you wont. Even though you may not be there for me to hug and see, you are ALWAYS in my heart....with me everyday! I love you Grandma!!!!

My Auntie Mae was one of God's angels on earth. It would take a whole volume of words to describe my special Auntie. (I will get it done when I retire)

In addition to all of her wonderful talents, she was there for me in one of my darkest hours, never judging, just supporting and loving me along with the rest of my family. (Thanks Mom & John) I will always remember her telling me "it's gonna be ok honey". It truly has been....

She was so much more than my aunt, she was my second Mom. I will continue to do my best and make you proud. I LOVE and MISS YOU!

My sister Mae was a special lady and a loving mother. She created many beautiful creations, i.e. quilts, pj's, wedding attire, wall hangings and much more.

We talked often on the phone, she will be missed by me and all who knew her. God is good!

Mae will always have a special place in all of our hearts. Our families spent many years together celebrating holidays and special events because our children were friends. We played cards, laughed and ate together. I will never forget Mae's hot eggs!!! She thought she was putting paprika on deviled eggs but she put chili powder on them by mistake! Yummy!!!!!!!!!!! Mae made party dresses, bridesmaid dresses and prom dresses for our girls. Mae will be missed greatly by our family. Our deepest sympathy to Laverne and the family. My family and I are terribly sad at the passing of our dear friend Mae.We will
treasure her memory for the rest of our lives,Mae always made me feel apart of
the family, as I was concerned I was just another kid at the table. Mae always made me feel special and never forgot a birthday. As I remembered I always got
a special cake and of course a party to go with it.When the family moved to Colorado I went to visit a few times. I loved the farm and enjoyed being involved in what ever was going on at the time. Those times are so special

Dear Family,

I am very sorry for the loss of Auntie Mae; she has been an adopted aunt of since I was 5 years old. Made many birthday cakes for me and my brother Chris. Not mention birthday cards and cookies when we were living in Germany both times. She a wonderful person with kindness and love towards those she meet. I will always remember her as my Auntie Mae. Dear family,

I remember all of the road trips to Colorado and Missouri with my Aunt Mae. We would sit and talk for hours. She knew who was with whom, what went where, and all about everyone. If you said road trip she was there. She loved to drive. I remember her taking off for Colorado and having the car die on Potato Hill. She had it towed to the shop. At that point she bought a diffrent car with a credit card and continued on her way. She just did not let anything stop her when it was time to go to Colorado and vist her Sister, my mom, Aunt Max.

Aunt Mae loved to sew and make things for people. I remeber grumbling over a baby blank which she made for one of my daughters. I asked why don't grown ups get bankets like that. I wanted one. The next thing I knew I had my very own grown up baby blanket, which I use today, when watching tv.

She always had a good story to tell. A few about me.

I loved my Auntie Mae and she loved me. I will miss her very, very much.
