Mack William Jones' Obituary
Mack William Jones Sr. was born to the parentage of Joe C. Jones and Odessa Jones on February 24, 1935 in Lillie, Louisiana. He relocated with his parents to Washington state in the early 50’s. Mack graduated from Lincoln High School and went on to be a MP in the United States Air Force. He met his first wife Eloise Boyd in 1958. Together they had 2 children Mack Jones Jr. and Kathy Jones.
After leaving the Air Force Mack then became a foundry worker and married his second wife and lifelong partner Jackie Jones. After retiring, Mack took care of his father and his Aunt Addie until their passing. In 2003 Mack went in to cardiac arrest and lived the rest of his life full of joy.
Mack was the most caring, kind and selfless man. He loved his family dearly. Mack loved to go to the horse races and play cards with his friends.
He was proceeded in death by his mother and father, his favorite aunt Addle Willis, older sister Mary Dean Brock , brother Joe Mack Jones, grandson Steven Lohnes II, nephews Larry Coley and Jerome Brown, niece Cynthia Brown and great niece Rochelle Brazel and numerous aunts, uncles. He leaves behind to cherish his memories sons Mack W. Jones Jr of Tacoma, Steven Lohnes of North Dakota; daughters Kathy Jones, Deanna Bernard and Janice Bernard all of Tacoma. 11 grandchildren and 9 Great grandchildren. Uncle Buddy Jackson of San Francisco, His sister Dorothy Price, Pecolia Coley (Andy), and Billie Carter all of Tacoma and Eleanor Jones of Seattle. Numerous Nephews and Nieces and countless friends and family that he loved. He was surrounded by his family when the lord called him home.
