Lynn Henry Gummeringer's Obituary
Lynn H. Gummeringer, born March 14, 1953 in Devils Lake, ND, passed away August 13, 2006 in Tacoma, WA.Lynn was a Captain US Army retired with 21 years of distinguished service receiving numerous commendations and awards. He graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Business Administration and Criminal Justice. He was most recently employed at the Dept. of Corrections for the State of Washington.He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Peterson (Gummeringer), 3 children: son Gregory (34) (Karen), Active duty MSG, daughter Wendy (26) (Rich), Active duty 2L T, and daughter Hiedi (20), junior at University of Washington, and grandson Braeden Gregory. Also left behind are 3 siblings: Karen Munz, Linda Klovas, and Ken Gummeringer, all of Tacoma.Memorial Services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, August 19, 2006 in the Celebration of Life Center, Aspen Chapel, at Mountain View Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors.We all love you and you will always be in our hearts.I love you daddy.
