Lynda K. Eyres' Obituary
Lynda, age 65, born in Tacoma August 24, 1939, passed away suddenly on June 18, 2005. She lived in Tacoma almost her entire life. She was the youngest of four children born to Frank E. Eyres and OÂ'Etta A. Eyres (Atwood). Lynda graduated from Lincoln High School in 1957. She received a degree from Tacoma Business College. She worked in banking a few years in Wyoming, then returned home and worked for the State of Washington in the department of DSHS, first in Olympia then in the Tacoma office. Taking her retirement in 1993, Lynda enjoyed reading, gardening, and was a member of the American Rhododendron Society, Tacoma Chapter. She also loved to play Bingo very much and played at B.J.Â's, meeting many friends for life. She enjoyed travel, and took many trips around the states and in the northwest with the Tacoma Parkboard bus trips. Lynda is survived by her Brother Thomas A. Eyres (Donna) of Gig Harbor, WA; and Sister-in-Law Mrs. Donna J. Eyres (John) of Puyallup, WA. She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews Dean Eyres (Jan), of Tall Timbers, MD; Davene Eyres of Snohomish, WA; Peggy Eyres of Clayton, CA; Denise Vail (Jim) of Spanaway, WA; Teresa Unger (Tim) of Sumner, WA; Kevin Eyres (Michelle) of Beaverton, OR; Cynthia Eberly of Puyallup, WA; Charles Eberly of Tacoma, WA; Richard Eberly (Kristen) of Tacoma, WA; Diana Shepperd (Gary) of Federal Way, WA; and many cousins all across the western United States.There will be a celebration of life from 1:00 Â- 4:00 PM Sunday, July 10, 2005, in the Oak Room of Mountain ViewÂ's Celebration of Life Center.
