Lyle L. Pierman
Lyle was born in Galesburg, Michigan on 3-16-35. He slipped from this world on 8-23-09 surrounded by his loving family and caring friends. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1973. In 1956 he met and married his wife, Connie, in England. They traveled together throughout his military career and retired in Lakewood in 1973. Lyle then went to work for Boeing for 20 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and nature, especially boating, camping, and bird watching. He was a man devoted to his family, and an active member of the TOA, DIYC, and Overlanders RV club. He loved his fellow members and enjoyed the many outings and events with his friends there. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, siblings, son, Duane, and daughter, Kelly, he is survived by his devoted wife, Connie, beloved daughter, Donna, grandchildren, his esteemed Bryan (Melissa), his darling Kerri (Carlton), his buddy Jordan and great-grandson Brooklyn -" bird watcher in training.
Thank you to all the friends who have supported and loved Lyle and his family during his short, painful battle with prostate cancer. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Hospice House for their caring, comfort, and compassion. Donations to Hospice House.
