Lydia Roth's Obituary
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She is survived by loving daughters Nancy and Maryann and son Joe. Grandchildren Tony, Christine, Nick, Nina, Laurel, Loren, Valerie, Vaughn, and Margie. Twenty great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Sisters Marie, Marcella and nephew Jerry. She was preceded in death by her parents Nathile and Albert Schaub, her husband Nicholas, daughter Marie, granddaughter Gina, and brothers Harry, Walter and Alex.Lydia and her family moved to Tacoma from Grand Forks, ND in the 1950s. She was active in the Catholic Church, an avid reader and a published poet. She had a wide circle of friends and was a social butterfly. She will be missed by all. She was our angel.A mass will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday, May 27, in Visitation Catholic Church, 3314 S. 58th St. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM at Mountain View Funeral Home.
