Lydia E. Maloney's Obituary
Lydia E. Maloney passed away August 22, 2014. She was born April 13, 1919 in North Dakota to German immigrants from Russia, Fred & Elizabeth (Wolff) Job. She took nurses training in Bismarck, North Dakota graduating in 1942. She worked at the VA Hospital at American Lake, WA and the Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, WA.
She married George Maloney August 30, 1944. Survivors include her husband George, 3 children, Dennis Maloney, Kathleen Kerns and Nanette (Raymond) Hanna, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Esther (Alvin) Christensen, Helen (Oscar) Ebel and Gladyce Bowler, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, one sister and 3 brothers. She was a charter member of the AREWS Club.
Funeral services will be held, Saturday, August 30, 1:00 p.m. in the Aspen Chapel at Mountain View Memorial Park. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
