"Strong and Endure"
Loving husband, father, and grandfather Luke G. Culanag was born in Bayombong, Nueva Viscaya, Philippines, on 10/18/1914, and passed away on 7/15/2011 in Tacoma. He was in the US Army for 27 years and 9 months. Luke was in Co. "H" 45th Infantry Regiment of the Philippine Scouts before joining the US Army. He was a former prisoner of war and Bataan Death March survivor. Luke is survived by his loving wife Josefa and three sons, Robert, Don, and Anthony. Also five grandchildren, Jennifer, Edward, Elenamarie, Alyssa, and Remy. Thanks to Dr. Goodenberger and Dr. Timato for their love and care. Visitations are Thursday and Friday, 12-9 pm, and the rosary at Mountain View Funeral Home on Friday at 6:30pm. Rosary at St. John Bosco Church at 10:00AM and Mass at 11:00AM Saturday, July 23rd.
