Luella M. Loran's Obituary
Luella M. Loran, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother was born on May 5, 1925 and she went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2013. Luella was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tom, to whom she was married nearly fifty-six years at the time of his passing.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa Loran, her son and daughter-in-law Joseph and Nancy Loran, her granddaughter Katie Loran and her husband Mike Nichols, her granddaughter Megan Loran, her grandson Joey Loran, her sister-in-law Gloria Matz, and many other dear family members and friends.
Luella was an active member of Manitou Park Presbyterian Church, where she served in a variety of offices over the years. Luella was a wonderful homemaker and cook and she took great pride and joy in caring for her family. She was an avid gardener and she truly had a green thumb. Luella could make anything grow well, and she loved her beautiful roses.
Luella loved family gatherings, bowling, crossword puzzles, and reading. She was a huge sports fan and followed all of our local teams, as well as the San Francisco Giants and 49ers from her days in the Bay Area. She enjoyed socializing and chatting with her many friends.
Luella's was a life well lived and she will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW., Lakewood, WA, on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at 2:00p.m. in the Garden Chapel.
