Lucille (Luci) Agnes Iacuessa
Lucille (Luci) Agnes Iacuessa, 88, died September 14, 2012 in Tacoma, Washington.
She was born September 6, 1924, in Lynn Massachusetts to Leo Murphy and Delia O'Shea Murphy. Luci married John Francis Iacuessa in 1951; they moved to Western Washington and settled in Puyallup where they raised four children.
Luci worked as a legal secretary for a prominent Puyallup law firm and later, enjoyed a successful career in the business office at Pacific Lutheran University. She was an active member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church. Her interests included family, gardening, puzzles, and reading.
Mrs. Iacuessa was preceded in death by her brothers Eugene and Leo, and her sisters Katherine, Barbara, Claire, Mary, and Margaret. She is survived by her daughters Carole Cash, Gina Ames, and Sandra Fox; her son John Iacuessa; her grandchildren Andrea Irish, Ashley Smith, Robbie Pritchett, Joe Fox, Michelle Fox, Jamie Fox, Ian Iacuessa, and Aliya Iacuessa; and her great grandchildren Alyssa Irish and Liam Pritchett.
A memorial service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park's Garden Chapel in Lakewood, Washington on Saturday, September 22nd at 11 am. A celebration of life reception will follow. Luci will be laid to rest at Gethsemane Cemetery in Federal Way.
