Born on February 22nd, in Mitchell South Dakota, was called home by his Lord on October 14, 2009. Lowell moved to Tacoma and graduated from Lincoln HS in 1955. He married Martha Jean "Marty" Bradford in 1960, and in 1964 joined the Tacoma Police Department where he faithfully served his community for 24 years. The highlight of his law enforcement career occured in 1990 when he joined the US Marshal Service as a Deputy Marshal. He was a loving husband to his wife Marty for 49 years, a devoted father of three and a proud Poppa of two grandchildren. He is survived, missed and loved by his wife Marty, his sister Dee and husband Earl, son Dean, daughter Nicole, son James, daughter-in-law Dixie, granddaughter McKayla and grandson Preston. He will also be missed and loved by many other family and friends. The service will be on Saturday, October, 17th 2 p.m. at Olympic View Baptist Church, 4707 Elwood Dr W. Donations can be made to the Tacoma/ Pierce County Chaplaincy. He left the world a better place for having been here.
