Love Lee Scott III's Obituary
Love L. Scott III was born here in Tacoma on July 21, 1977 and left us early on November 1, 2013. “Birdie”, as he was known by everyone, grew up in Tacoma. He spent his elementary days at Concordia Lutheran School, where he later was a Volunteer basketball coach for many seasons. He assisted the team all the way to Nationals one year. Birdie attended and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1996, and went on to attend Tacoma Community College where he did play basketball. Birdie had a great love and passion for basketball which he displayed with his coaching. Birdie touched many lives through his love for basketball. His illness of diabetes took him from us too soon. He truly will be missed by many. He is survived by his father, Love L. Scott Jr. He is survived by his loving children Tre-Vaughn, Stephon, Lovaughn, Cam’ron, Ty’zuan, and a host of other family members and friends.
