Lourdes L. Labasan was born on 11 February 1952 in Guimba, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. She passed away 5 March 2005 at her home in Lakewood.Lourdes married Michael Murphy and later on they had a son. Lourdes followed Michael through life from the Philippines to North Carolina, Ohio, Germany, and Washington State where she called home. She became a US citizen and was very proud. She was equally proud of her Filipino heritage. She went to work later at AAFES on Ft. Lewis for a total of 10 years.She will be deeply missed by all that were fortunate enough to have known her, especially her beloved husband, Michael, and son, Michael. Other survivors include her mother, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters, all living in the Philippines.Viewing will be from 12 noon to 9:00 PM on Wednesday at Mt. View Funeral Home. Services are at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 10, 2005 in the Mt. View Valley Chapel. Internment at Mt. View Memorial Park.
