Louise Thompson 65, of Lakewood,
Washington, passed peacefully October 20, 2014.
She is survived by her husband,
Thomas Thompson, son Kenon Thompson,
and family. Services held Saturday,
4:00pm on November 1, 2014 at
Christ Lutheran in Lakewood Washington.

Louise Thompson was the first child born to Tom and Lucille West on July 13, 1949 in Cordelle, Georgia. At a young age she received her Lord and Savior, and was baptized. She often said “ without my faith in the Lord, I wouldn’t be able to fight this disease”. Louise graduated from Gifford High School in Gifford, Florida in June of 1969. She attended Lincoln Memorial Business College in 1969, and there she met, Chief Master Sargeant, Thomas Thompson while he was serving at the United States Air Force base, McCoy in Orlando, Florida. On October 26, 1968 they were united in matrimony at a little church in Gifford, Florida. During their marriage they traveled the world and on May 18, 1979 gave birth to their son Kenon Jelani Thompson. After Toms 27 years of service they settled in Lakewood, Washington, where Louise was a supervisor at the Tacoma Branch of Tapco Credit Union till her retirement.
Left behind to cherish her memories is her husband of 46years, Thomas Thompson. Her son and daughter in law, Kenon and Malia Thompson. Beloved companion Kickers Thompson. Precious grandchildren, whom she loved deeply, Kaidan Bodenhamer, Wikolia and Xayvion Thompson. Six sisters, Annie Kate West, Brenda Troutman, Barbara West, Sharon Bass, Jaqueline Jones of Vero Beach, Florida, and Diotha West of Lakewood, Washington. One brother preceded her in death, Lorenzo Tom West. Five nieces, Csantecia (Tee Tee), Stacey, Sheena, Bretney, and Jasmyne. Seven nephews, Arthur, Damon, Demetrius, Reun, Elvin, Jamal, and Joseph Jr., as well as, twenty-three great nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
