Loving & caring...that is how I remember her. My Mom, Lori, worked late most evenings; past the usual hours of the school being open. Mrs. Cantrell would always invite me over to her house so I could wait for my Mom there. She always had fresh cookies and a warm fire crackling. I remember her shetland ponies...she loved all of the animals on the farm. I always felt safe when she was around. What a kind spirit. My heart goes out to her family...with love and support...I know she must be so proud of you all.

We remember your Mom with kind thoughts....
My daughter Jenni was one of her "first students" in 1980 at the Day Care in Spanaway. Mrs. Cantrell shared her love of kids, teaching and moral values with each child who attended her "home". She was always kind and supportive. When Jenni and I think of the people who guided her during the early years, Mrs. Cantrell has a very special place on that list.
I still think of her each time I drive by the Day Care. She was a special woman. Jenni and I hope the love and special memories you each have of such a special woman will help ease the pain of her passing.

I want to express my deep heartfelt condolences to my cousins Sandy,Gene, Billy, Joyce and Jeffrey Cantrell. It is so hard to lose a mother I know because of losing mine in June. Rembering my Beloved Aunt Louise
I have so many good memories of you starting at my childhood. I remember family gatherings, family picnics, trips to the ocesn and backyard BBQ's. I remember how close you were to your parents and my mother your sister. Mom always called you sissy I think her whole life. You were a stronger person than my mom. I know that your example made a lasting impression on me that families should always stick together no matter what. It's too bad that it did not have that impression on everyone.
I remember your willingness to listen to me when I was having a bad time at home with Cecil. I spent a lot of time at your house. On my 16th birthday I was at your house and I played the record 16 Candles on your stereo. I remember playing a lot of records on your stereo. You loved music as much as my mother did I wish I would have had some of your talent for playing the piano.
I loved your famous Mayonnaise Cakes you made and the old fashioned fudge also. When you worked at the PX at Fort Lewis you would eat 4-5 candy bars a day. I was amazed that you could eat that amount and not gain a lb.You always made me feel loved. I was proud you were my aunt. I know that Jay D. and Ginger loved you very much.
I remember how devastated you were when you lost Uncle Bill. For several years after that you and I use to go out dancing. We danced at the Top of the Ocean, Manhattan Dance Club and the VFW. We had many good times together. I always admired your pep and energy. I have many loving memories of you thru out my whole life. I love you very much and will miss you forever.

Mom,
What a wonderful life you have had and what a wonderful mother I had. I can't expess all the joy and sadness we shared throughout out lives together. You were always there for me when I fell and never turned me away when I was down. We have shared together a special mother and son relationship that will always be in my heart.
