Louise Moran's Obituary
Louise P. Moran
Louise P. Moran passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on June 2, 2011, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born to the late Jim & Lucile Hartle on Sept 9, 1933 near Vale OR. She graduated from Ashland High School in 1952. After raising her four children, Louise's nuturting nature lead her to a career in the nursing field. She retired in 2000 after 25 years at St Peter Hospital in Lacey WA. She was known as a great cook, seamstress and gardener. She enjoyed classic movies and old country western music. A favorite activity was hiking the hills and "finding a rock" to sit and enjoy the scenery. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and close friends. Her heart and home was always open for any of her children and grandchildren, most of whom lived with her at various times. She will be remembered for her spunky sense of humor, her positive attitude and warm, kind nature. She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca (Russ) Martin, Sandra (Dwayne) Hohn, Rhonda (Jim) Wilce and son Richard (Gina) Renzema. Grandchildren Crystal, Sergio, Corey, Kevin, Melanie, Michelle, Nathan and Gary, and 5 great grandchildren. Also sisters Patricia Fisher & Wilma Fend. She was preceded in death by sister Irene Hartle. She will be greatly missed and her memory cherished by all who knew and loved her. A memorial will be held in her honor on June 10th at 1pm at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church 3315 S 19th St Tacoma. Donations only to Lymphoma/Leukemia Society. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
