My husband and I were fortunate to be part of Louise's Thursday night dinners and the Christmas dinner and fun celebration ... so many wonderful memories.
Louise showered the people that she cared for with so much love, we were lucky to be recipients of that love.
In my minds eye I can picture Louise when we would come into her home ... the smile the open arms .. the hug ..and kiss.. Her twinkling eyes I will miss those so much.
I loved Louise and wish that I could properly share all that I experienced as her friend and family member. We both shared so much and that brought us closer.
She was amazing and I thank God that he blessed her with a long life that she loved and lived to the Max.
To her son Dan, Daughter in-law Debbie and Gran-son Garrett and all Louise loved and cared for I pray that they will keep the Faith and remain Strong. Keep and reflect on the wonderful Memories for comfort.

I'll be the first to admit that I am not the greatest at writing about all the loved ones lost in my life... it's sometimes just hard to express in writing what you are feeling and how did actually put it down on paper ? How do you express how you truly feel when somebody that's been so important to you in your life passes away? Those words are hard to write.....
With that said I will just say that Louise has been a very important part of my life....
I got the pleasure of meeting her when I started working at the beach Tavern a little over 30 years ago... her daughter Patty and I became pretty close Buddy's..
I still miss her to this day ..how we used to rant and play at the Beach Tavern when we worked together .. we had that love-hate relationship .. but definitely was more love and friendship..
She left us way too soon..

Louise was great at entertaining and I was fortunate enough to witness firsthand how much she like to have fun and throw parties! Are Christmas parties at the beach Tavern where she would be the host and distribute many free gifts... with our white elephant Shenanigans ..and those that know they know what I'm talking about :-)
Plus being invited to her private xmas party at the top of the hill Eddie's catering hall where is she provided us with a big prime rib dinner with a lot more fun with more gifting and great friends and family get-togethers to include special dances and Santa Claus bowling..🤔 such fantastic memories! Thank you Louise for all that you have entertained us with and your great gift of giving us all life!
And I know that you are smiling right now up in heaven and watching over us all!

I'm so sorry to hear about Louise's passing. Louise and my mom, Helen Ricketts worked together back in the 1940's and were friends for many, many years, until my mom's passing at 96 years old in October 2017. Mom always had nice things to say about Louise. She was a lovely lady, who definitely enjoyed life. May we all enjoy life to the fullest like Louise did! My condolences to all the family.

Our hearts are sad and heavy hearing of the loss of our dear friend, Louise. She shopped at our store every week with her niece. As stated in her obituary, I never saw her but what her hair was done, make-up on, stylish clothes with jewelry accents. Most beautiful, however, was her smile and disposition every time I saw her. I can still hear her saying "Oh, honey!" every time we chatted ~ always ending with a warm embrace. Seriously! How many 101 year-olds still shop for their own groceries? I will always honor her memory . . . and I will always remember what she said about needing to buy lemons. I remember her buying bags of them! LOL! What a dear, wonderful lady!

I will always remember the fun we had celebrating her 100th birthday at our store!
