Louise Marie Hayes Miller's Obituary
Louise Marie Miller, born February 17, 1916 to John and Mary Massey in Littlefork, Minnesota passed away peacefully in her sleep August 19, 2013 at the age of 97. She came West, working at the Boeing Company, also at various factories in Tacoma, Portland and Long Beach, California.
In 1955, she married Glenn Hayes. When he retired they did a lot of traveling throughout the United States and wintered in Brownsville, Texas. Glenn preceded Louise in death in 1979. In 1983, she married Virgil Miller. They also did a lot of traveling, including the Far East and Europe. Virgil preceded Louise in death in 1999. She moved to Tacoma from Sultan, WA in 2000. She was a life member of the Women of The Moose.
She is survived by her nephew Robert Nelson of Littlefork, Minnesota; cousins, nieces and step-son Don Hayes and his partner George Peek. Louise was preceded in death by her step-daughter Joan Matkins.
The Family wishes to thank the staff at Park Rose Care Center in Tacoma for the wonderful care Louise received while she was a resident.
Graveside service 1:30 pm, Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood. Visitation 10am to 8:30pm Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Mountain View Funeral Home.
