Llewellyn "Louie" Raymond Smith
Louie was born January 29, 1929, in Tacoma, Washington. He passed away in his home, surrounded by his family on January 9, 2018. Louie leaves behind his wife, Roberta (Bert), they would have celebrated 70 years of marriage this April. He is also survived by two daughters and their husbands: Terry and Roger Aiken and Kathy and Ralph Schieno; four granddaughters: Heather LaFranchi (Rick), Holly Falk (Steve), Amber Murray (Todd), and Crystal Dolan (Corey); and five great-grandchildren.
Louie said he had a blessed life. He enjoyed working as a longshoreman and the friends he made there. He loved traveling with Bert and his time flying his plane. He loved and was very much loved by his family and friends. Louie's wisdom and kindness touched the lives of many. He loved the Lord and lived his faith. He was a good man.
There will be a service for Louie on Friday, January 19, at 12:00 p.m. in the Aspen Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home & Memorial Park, with a reception to follow.
