Lorraine N. Haines' Obituary
Lorraine N. (Bubbins) Haines was born in Tacoma on May 2, 1919 and passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011. She attended Tacoma schools and enjoyed being in the A Cappella Choir at Lincoln High School, Class of 1938. This choir was in a national Competition in St. Louis, MO. She was the wife of the late Clyde L. Haines. They lived in Saratoga, CA for over 50 years. She was in retail sales and retired from JC Penney. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Bessie Bubbins (Holt), sister Evelyn Bubbins Curtice and niece Barbara Haines Bushnell. She is survived by Carol Curtice (Jeri) Witmer and Edward (Patti) Curtice, Beverly (Bob) Edminster, Nancy (Walt) Sprowl, Bob (Martha) Haines, Dick Bushnell, Gwen (Bill) Young, Janis (Lloyd) Wallis, and Ron (Linda) Haines, as well as many great-nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Mountain View Memorial Park. Remembrances may be made to Franciscan Hospice PO Box 0502, Tacoma, WA 98401-9836.
