Lorraine June (Hills) Johnson Lorraine was born on March 23, 1927 to Vernon and Elizabeth Sanders in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She passed away peacefully at her home on September 26, 2004 with her loving family surrounding her. Lorraine loved life, her family and friends. She chose to be a work at home wife and mother and loved doing her job. She was very talented with crafts, loved to read, and dance, but most of all she loved people. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husbands Raymond Hills in 1975 and Samuel Johnson in 1998; one brother Victor Sanders, one sister Irene Sharpen, and two nephews Jay and Victor Wardlow and two brother-in-laws James Wardlow and Bill Sharpen.She is survived by her sister Eleanor (Lloyd) Dawson; six children Sandy (Terry) Kelly, Fawn (Buddy) Hamilton, Dawn (Carl) Carlson, Ronald (Gail) Hills, Roger Hills, and Randy (Melinda) Hills; two loving step-sons; Doug (Debbie) Johnson and Kenneth (Georgia) Johnson; twenty grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one nephew Lee (Diane) Wardlow; two great-nieces and one great-nephew.Visitation will be at Mt. View Funeral Home from Thursday, September 30 at 5:00PM through October 5 till 12:30PM. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at 2:00PM, in the Mt. View Garden Chapel, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Tacoma, WA 98499.Burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. Lorraine was a very special Lady and was loved by all. She will be missed and in our hearts forever.
