Kay received and acted on a Christian ministry of helping others - family, friends, neighbors, strangers -- and the members of Grace Lutheran Church, Tacoma, throughout my 28 years of pastoral ministry. She lived the Gospel and now rests in the promises of

My mom and I very much miss Kay. She was always so sweet and supportive and we shared many laughs too. I met Kay through our Civitan group and have known her for several decades. When Mom had several strokes and could no longer drive, Kay would give her rides when I was unavailable and Mom really loved her and enjoyed being with her. Kay was such a selfless and loving caretaker of others. Kay was very proud of and loved her family--children, grandchildren and great-grands. With her strong faith she is with her heavenly father.
