Lorna Mae Beason's Obituary
Lorna Mae Beason was born in Tacoma, Washington on January 12, 1934. She peacefully passed away December 27, 2005. She grew up in Tacoma and graduated from Stadium High School. Lorna was one of the original school bus drivers for University Place School District and then continued her career driving for Pierce Transit. She was a member of the Gig Harbor Eagles Auxiliary, Rainier Rambles RV Group and a widowed honorary member of Tacoma Elks #174.Lorna celebrated her life by being involved with family and friends. She was lucky to have a second chance at love by meeting Frank. Together they fulfilled LornaÂ's dream of travel; living on yacht in the Bahamas, traveling around the world, and then by motor home.Lorna was a loving and devoted wife, partner, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her partner Frank Kempton, brother Larry Gladstone (Nancy), daughters Nancy Reeve (Tom), Janice Weygandt (Bud), Patricia Cabantan (Jonn); son Hoyat Beason Jr., 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends. She will be missed, but not forgotten. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 2, 2006 at the Tacoma Elks Lodge #174, 1965 S. Union Ave, Tacoma.
