LORENE MCGILL
Lorene M. McGill Age 93, was born July 8, 1918, and passed away Dec. 28, 2011. She was born, raised, and spent her entire life in Tacoma. During World War II, Lorene was one of the "Rosie the Riveters" helping build Army Air Corps bombers. Years later she worked at J.C. Penney. Lorene enjoyed trips to Reno and the ocean as well as being with family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Sandra (Dennis) Hammermaster, granddaughters Stacie (Mark) Jones and April (Eric) Barnum, and great-granddaughters Ashley and Kara Jones and Annabelle Barnum. Lorene was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, Sept. 8, 2006. Special appreciation is extended to the staff of Pioneer Place for their loving care. Memorial Service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012 in the Mountain View Aspen Chapel.
