Dan Lasham
To all - When Linda called to tell me Larry had passed, I was truly heart broken and I have honestly missed his presence. If I recall, Larry came to Mountain View in Nov 1972 from Buckley-King in Tacoma and it was one of the best decisions the Thompson family ever made. He was part of an elite group and was the "Face" for the funeral home for many years. Sometimes we meet that special person in our lives where everything clicks together and Larry and I really did. I was fortunate to work side by side with him for a long time, we had the same interests, hobbies and hung out on days off occasionally. He was simply a real people person and friend with a magnetizing personality.
Larry had a gift of bringing things into perspective, to better understand with empathy, especially with a hurting family he was serving. He was a great listener, a great funeral director and friend!
I am so so sorry Linda and to Leilani, Terrance and Tiffany, I loved your dad!
Thank you Larry for all the time we've spent together, your friendship and visiting with my parents when walking out at the mall.
One day, you and I will drive the most beautiful cars Heaven offers!
