Lola Doris Hodges
May 26, 1932 - June 1, 2012
Lola was born in Vilas, North Carolina to Gladys and Coy Love. After graduating from Cove Creek High School she met and married Stanley Hodges on Christmas Day, 1952. Ten years later Tacoma was chosen as their home. After raising three boys, Mom worked for Safeway for 18 years. Following that she enjoyed her fellowship with the Emblem and AREWS clubs.
Mom's final resting place will be her favorite destination, the Oregon Coast. She was preceded in death by sisters Myrtle, Virginia, and Una, and brother Howard. She is survived by loving husband Stanley A. Hodges, sons Donald (Debby), Gregory (Sarah), Richard (Michelle); sisters Jean and Ruth, brother Jim, and eight grandkids and 5 great-grandkids.
Our family wishes to thank nurses and staff of ICU West Team at Madigan for their care and support for our Mom.
We will miss you!
Memorial services will be held in the Mountain View Valley Chapel at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 12, 2012.
