Lois Violet Farley's Obituary
LOIS VIOLET STANGER FARLEY
Lois passed away September 7, 2008 at age 86. Born in Graham & a graduate of Puyallup High School. Lois married Walter P. Farley February 1941. They raised their family in Tacoma, Washington, retired & made residence at their summer beach home in Olympia, 1979. Walt & Lois traveled near & far by trains, planes & luxury liners. They RV'd with many snowbird friends throughout US & Canada. Lois enjoyed her family ABOVE ALL. She loved crocheting & did so professionally for many years for Rhodes Dept. Store. Salmon fishing in Puget Sound & Westport brought Lois great pleasure, as did a game of golf & watching the Mariners.
Preceded in death by parents, Rueben & Mina Stanger; brother, Walter; husband of 63 years, Walter; daughter, Marilyn. Survived by son, Michael W. Farley (M. Lu); grandchildren, Angela Farley (Matthew Tuttle) of Olympia, M. Jared Farley (Amber) of Richland, Maggie Wallace of Lake Forest Park; great grandchildren, Tristan Reid Farley & Olivia Annmarie Farley Tuttle.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM at Mountain View Garden Chapel, Friday, September 12, 2008. The viewing will be Thursday, September 11, 2008 from noon until 9 P.M. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity or cause of your choice.
