Lois (Schliiter) Meisenburg Bussanich
November 10, 1922 - May 28, 2008 After suffering a stroke the week prior, Lois passed away quietly with family around her. She lived her whole life in Tacoma. Preceded in death by her parents, Violet and William Schliiter, her brother Warren Schliiter, her first husband of 30 years Frank Meisenburg, and her second husband of 16 years John Bussanich. She relished the company of her three children Gary Meisenburg, Terry (and Deedra) Meisenburg and Shauni (and Matt) Meisenburg-Rock, her dear companion Roger Priem, her life-long friend Betty Lou Buhre, "daughter in law" Lynette Vehrs, and her seven grandchildren Fletcher Meisenburg, Hannah, Amy and Maren Meisen-Vehrs, Tera (and Marshall), Connor and Caitlin Rock. Family and friends describe Lois as a graceful, loving presence towards all that came to know her. Her keen intelligence, her enjoyable wit, and most of all her supportive, loving ways will be dearly missed. She was a joy to all who were fortunate enough to come to know her. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2008 at noon in the Mountain View Garden Chapel. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
