Lois Jean (Mccullough)'s Obituary
LOIS JEAN (MCCULLOUGH) BECKNERLois was born on July 12, 1934 and crossed over on January 27, 2003. She was a long-time resident of Spanaway and Lakewood. She graduated from Clover Park High School in 1952 where she was a member of the Nonettes singing group. She enjoyed softball, golfing, bowling, cooking, gardening and animals of all kinds. She was a huge sports fan sometimes keeping track of 3 games at a time! She was a wise, selfless, loving and caring wife, mother, sister and friend that did not want to impose on anyone. She was someone who lived for others. She passed on her wisdom of life and love to all that knew her. She will be greatly missed.Lois is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Lester Sr.; sons Gary (Rita Kuehn) Sinclair, Jeff (Sheryl) Sinclair and Lester Jr. Â"JerryÂ"; daughters Lori and Lisa (Mike) Mattie; step-daughter Kathryn (John) Dahlbeck; grandchildren Sandra, John-Charles (Sarah), Michelle, Melissa (Mike), Scott, Justin, Jeffery, Joseph and Christopher; great granddaughter Felicia; sister Arlene (Warren) Symmons; aunt Evelyn Finley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Sophia; sister Elsie; brothers Robert Jr. and Gerald Â"JerryÂ"; grandson Gary Jr.; and great grandson Cordell.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS). Checks should be made out to PAWS and mailed to: P.O. Box 1037, Lynnwood, WA 98046.At her request, no services will be held.
