Dale has such fond memories of Lois, especially how welcome he felt when he would go up there for Christmas in the 1960s. I am sorry I never got to meet her in person but certainly enjoyed our Christmas correspondence each year. Lois was more like a sister than a cousin. The care she gave to her mother during her last years was a tribute to Lois's kindness. Not many will manage a trip to China in their life times, but Lois was there twice! She fell asleep in Jesus on Transfiguration Sunday -- pretty good timing! Good Shepherd has lost a faithful servant but heaven has gained. IT was always great to sit by Lois in Bible class as she always had the correct answers and was ready to explain what others didn't know. We watched Lois's family grow up and leave to get married or go to school. Lois stayed and was always faithful about sttedning services.
