Lois Jean (Brownrigg) Yelovich's Obituary
Lois Jean Yelovich was born on August 16, 1934 in Hoquiam, Wa and passed away suddenly at her home in Puyallup on September 7, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Yelovich in 2015, her Brothers Leo and Gary, her sister Gracia Gabriel, and her parents.
She is survived by her 3 children Daryl (Bonnie) Gitt, Dennis Gitt and Donna (John ) Gradin, brother Bob Brownrigg, 9 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren who she loved dearly and unconditionally as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church in Puyallup and attended every Sunday . She also would help on Monday’s and Fridays with the Sunday bulletin, with bible school, ushering and also helped with the memorial services.
She was the 2nd born of 5 children to Jesse and Dorothy Brownrigg. The family moved to Puyallup when she was a small child where she went to elementary, junior high school and graduated from Puyallup High School in 1954. She was proud to be a Viking and attended every class reunion with the most recent as her 62nd reunion.
Lois enjoyed spending time with her family and was overjoyed to do anything with them. She loved to also travel and spend time with her friends, shop, volunteer at church, help others with anything they needed , reading and gardening. She also enjoyed her monthly luncheons with her K-Mart Lunch Bunch.
This amazing woman will be greatly missed by all.
