I was the FMS Sq Cmdr's secretary and civilian records keeper from 1968 to 1976 and worked with Mr Kennedy on almost a daily basis. I remember him so well for his friendly manner, his respect for his fellow man, and ready smile. It was a long time ago, but he is still clear in my mind. He was that kind of man. My sympathy to you in your loss.##imported-begin##Linda McCallum##imported-end##
I am sorry I cannot be with you today. I will always remember and love my "Uncle Lloydie" as the loving and handsome man he was. I am so thankful I was able to see him one last time a few weeks ago...next time I will see him in Paradise. I can't imagine what it was like when he closed his eyes here and opened them to find grandma waiting with Jesus, arms open wide, smiling and saying, "What took you so long?"
I love you all, Linda##imported-begin##Linda & Mike Kelly##imported-end##

I worked with Lloyd from 1973 until his retirement. We had many interesting conversations. I considered him an inspiration throughout my USAF & civil service careers at McChord. One of my favorite memories was the breakfasts we shared & he always bought my 2 year old daughter "silver dollar pancakes". She is now 28 & remembers those pancakes to this day. My deepest sympathies to his family.
