Lloyd James' Obituary
On June 18th, 2022 Lloyd C James lost his courageous battle to cancer. Lloyd’s life was full of family, friends, love, fried foods, and the Dallas Cowboys.
Lloyd was born on April 2nd, 1951 in Moses Lake, Washington to Maxine and Esther James. After joining the military, his love of travel was deepened and he spent the majority of his life on the road traveling to see different parts of the world, and most, importantly family and friends.
Lloyd was an accomplished man; however his biggest accomplishment was being the bridge for family and friends who lived apart. He ensured that all who knew him knew each other. He lived his life to the fullest extent and on his own terms.
He is survived by his daughter, LaKeysha Washington (Lamar), beloved grandson Wayne (Tre’), siblings Margaret, Mike, Ray, Mark, and Tammy, countless nieces and nephews, his longterm partner Phyliss Baker, and family in Houston, Texas, and friends in Wilmington, NC.
He was welcomed to his heavenly home by his mother, father, and siblings: Pauly, Kenny, and Sylvester...Maybe now that he is in heaven, the Dallas Cowboys might be able to win a game.
Lloyd was loved more than he knew
Lloyd will be missed beyond measure
Lloyd will forever be present in all of our hearts.
