Peacefully passed away Saturday July 11, 2009. Lloyd leaves behind his wife of 63 years Loretta and their three children David, Aleta and James. Lloyd is also survived by five grandchildren Cindy, Christy, James, Mariann, Bill and six great grandchildren. Lloyd lived an active life in the Tacoma area belonging to the CCC's and served in the Army was wounded and a POW during WWII. He retired from Tacoma City Light after 30+ years. Lloyd was very active in church and community activities and was proud of his position as Chaplin with the local Purple Hearts, VA Chapter. His love and contributions to family, church and community will be missed. Services will be Saturday, July 18th at 2:00p.m. in the Valley Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. S.W., Lakewood, WA.
