Lita Margo's Obituary
Lita P. Margo of Puyallup WA. passed away on August 20, 2022. Lita was born on February 2, 1931, in Oakland CA. to John and Sophie Padres
Lita's husband of 65 years, Martin, preceded her in death. She was a great mother to her 5 children and spent many years being a homemaker raising 4 sons and a daughter which was a full-time job, she had a lot of patience. Once the kids grew older, she began to work part-time at the school cafeteria and then at Macy’s Dept Store.
Her passion other than her kids was gardening, she had a green thumb and loved spending time outside cultivating beautiful flowers especially roses, fruits and vegetables for the family and her neighbors at their home in San Jose CA.
After her husband Martin became Ill, she knew it was time to move from San Jose CA to Puyallup WA to allow her adult children to help her with some of the various needs of her husband Martin until his eventual passing on December 27, 2016.
She loved seeing and spending time with her grandkids whenever she could and always had a great sense of humor, her granddaughters Johnet, Lexanna and Laci could always get her to dress up for fun and do and say the silliest things.
Those left to remember Lita are her sons Johnnie of Puyallup WA, Charlotte of Puyallup WA, Marty of Stockton CA, and Vince of San Jose CA; 9 grandchildren Jacob, Johnet, Jarred, Justin, Marty Jr., Mary, Michael, Steven and Eddy; her 24 great grandchildren, Gavin, Mason, Xander, Henley, Logan, Lexanna, Laci, Roman, Mateo, William, Mathew, Mariah, Johnay, Fabian, Melina, Kobe, Monica, Giovanni, Carmello, Audianna, Mylia, Santino, Julian, Alivia; and her sister Norma Russo of San Jose CA.
Lita is reunited with her parents, loving husband, and son Jackie Margo, who preceded her in death in 2003.
The grandkids will miss her very much, as will all those who knew and loved Lita. She will be remembered for her smile, her cooking and her love for her family members. Not to mention her love for cats, as she leaves behind her 2-orange tabby’s, Genesee & Rusty.
In lieu of flowers, Please donate to a local ASPCA, cat recue or animal shelter
