My family and I are still truly shocked to learn of our dear friend Linette's (chichi) passing. We only heard on June 13th. We will always remember her cheerful smile and that 'laugh' is one of a kind. You will be dearly missed. We know you are in a better place.##imported-begin##Brenda & Norman Reid & family##imported-end##
MOM,
I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY YOU YOU ARE THE CLOSEST PERSON TO PERFECTION THAT I'VE KNOWN. YOU ALWAYS HAD A MESSAGE AND KNEW GOD'S PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE. AND ALTHOUGH HE TOOK YOU TO HEAVEN BEFORE WE WOULD HAVE LIKED, WE KNOW THAT YOU'RE LEAVING WHILE YOUR LIGHT WAS STILL BURNING BRIGHTLY ENSURES THAT YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. YOU HAVE INSPIRED ALL WHO HAVE COME ACROSS YOUR PATH AND I WISH TO HONOR YOUR MEMORY BY NOT LETTING WHAT YOU TAUGHT ME BE IN VAIN. THANK YOU FOR GIVING SO MUCH OF YOURSELF AND BEING SO LOVING, KIND, SWEET-SPIRITED, AND GENUINE! REST IN PEACE.
PRAYING EACH DAY THAT YOU ARE SMILING DOWN FROM HEAVEN,
WITH SO MUCH LOVE THAT I CANNOT PUT IT INTO WORDS,
YOUR DAUGHTER AND BEST FRIEND,
CLAUDIA##imported-begin##Claudia##imported-end##
Claudia,
I am so sorry I was unable to attend the Memorial Service. I have many fond memories of your mom as you know. She was ALWAYS a beacon of light for me. Always a smile and encouraging word. I can still hear her laugh. When we moved away to Michigan I thought of her daily as she had given us a small picture of a house that says "Home is where the heart is." This was the first thing everyone saw who entered our home.
I know it is painful to mourn the loss of a loved one. I hope you find peace and love in her memories and knowing she is with our Lord.
Love you,
Linda, Phil, Kennedy and Garret Carter##imported-begin##Linda Carter##imported-end##
Claudia and family,
On behalf of my children Jensen and Brycen, I would truly want you to know how grateful we were to have had a child care provider that was just truly loving to my boys. We honestly could not have asked for a more patient and caring person than your mother. Words can not begin to express how much she is and will be missed by our family.##imported-begin##Thomas, Kelli, Jensen & Brycen##imported-end##
Dear Claudia-I left a message on the phone for you and hopefully, I will hear back from you, though I know you must be heartbroken--as am I. I had talked with your mom recently and had a left a message for her to call me back a couple of weeks ago. She never mentioned any health problems to me so I was shocked and saddened to see her obit in the paper. I don't have to tell you how very much your mom meant to me and Merle through the years that you were a student in the Scholarship Program and very proud she always was of you and your intellect. She was one of the sweetest persons I have ever known and so thoughtful---always sending lovely cards----and her never to be forgotten SMILE! I will miss hearing her voice on the phone and I will surely never forget her beautiful spirit. Please know that I am thinking of you and saying your name in my prayers. We can take consolation in knowing she is now with the Lord. God be with you and the grandchildren that she so adored!

Linnette will be missed. I was one of her friends from her ACCYN child care provider group. I was fortunate to live near Linnette and we sometimes carpooled to our trainings. She loved life and was a kind and generous soul. I loved her a lot and enjoyed listening to her talk about her beloved Claudia, Li Li and Kendrick. I miss her and cherish the time that we got to know each other. Heaven is a better place because she is in it.##imported-begin##Andrea Mathison##imported-end##
My condolences to the family. Linette was a true giver. I knew her as a friend from ACCYN. While she was soft spoken, she always had great words of wisdom and kindness in her heart. The love she shared with her child care friends and families will never be forgotten. I feel blessed to have known such a kind and loving soul.##imported-begin##Lisa Webb##imported-end##
My condolences go out to the family. Linnette and I worked together at the YMCA for a long time. I actually just ran into her at Target no too long ago and she was telling me how happy she was starting her own day care. I will miss Linnette so much. She taught me a lot while working at the YMCA and she was like a mother to me. May God bless your family.##imported-begin##Courtney Nolen##imported-end##
To Linnette's family, Please know that Linnette never went anywhere that she didn't have a friend. She was a great child care provider. She always made me laugh and had lots of wonderful stories of her kids. She was a wealth of good information. I loved talking to her. She will be missed. A fellow child child care provider and friend. Roberta Wright##imported-begin##Roberta Wright##imported-end##
