Linda Z. Eller's Obituary
Linda Zeadress Eller of Lakewood passed away on April 9, 2005 at the age of 70. She was born April 8, 1935 in Valle Cruces (Valley of the Cross) near Boone, North Carolina. She was valedictorian of her graduating class at Cove Creek High School, after which she went on to obtain a BachelorÂ's degree in English and a MasterÂ's degree in Library Science from Appalachian State University in Boone. She married Carson F. Eller in Vilas, North Carolina in 1957, and moved with him to Spokane, WA and Pittsburgh, PA before settling in Lakewood and later on Fox Island. Linda worked as a childrenÂ's librarian at Tacoma Public Library until the birth of the coupleÂ's only child, Kimberly, in 1967. After 23 years as a homemaker, Linda started a career as a real estate agent, returning to Lakewood in 1990. Up until her death, she was an agent at Lakewood Villa Reality where she enjoyed the company of her fellow agents.Linda was very creative and enjoyed painting, crocheting, writing, and crafts. She also loved the outdoors and spent much of her life gardening and rock collecting.She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Toal of Ventura, CA and her brother Larry Townsend of Valle Cruces, NC.A celebration of LindaÂ's life will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 23, 2005 at the Best Western Motor Inn, 6125 Motor Ave SW, Lakewood.In lieu of flowers or other gifts, please make donations in her name to Mary Bridge ChildrenÂ's Hospital.Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252.
