Linda Joyce Weaver's Obituary
Linda Weaver, 62 of Roy, passed away at home on Friday, November 16, 2018. Linda was born February 15, 1956 to Bill and Joan Keys (Shane) in Long Beach, California. She and her husband Jim moved to Washington state in the 80’s. During her early adulthood she worked as an LPN in both California and Washington. She liked being a nurse but she loved being a mom more. She became a mother in the late 90’s and a homemaker soon after. Linda loved to cook and people loved to eat her food. Her children meant everything to her and she took pride in the young adults she had raised. One of Linda’s favorite hobbies was taking care of her pets. She had chickens, ducks, a goose, two horses, two miniature pigs, and a dachshund. She also loved to spend time with her grandson, who brought her much happiness. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor, wonderful cooking, faithfulness in friendship, and loving, mothering nature. Her husband, Jim; parents, Bill and Joan; and brother David preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Brett and Kimberly; Grandson, Jaxon; brother Glenn; sisters Erin and Paula; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Due to Linda’s wishes there will not be a memorial service held. Family & Friends are encouraged to journal online sentiments, & cherished memories, here in her guestbook.
