Linda Oliva Ramos' Obituary
Linda was born on April 19, 1965 in Manila. The only daughter of Ading and Luz, only sister of Leo, Luis and Joe. She was an exemplary student, a studious scholar, passed the CPA board exams in the Philippines with flying colors, and finished her MBA shortly after. She served the Government and rose to the ranks as a Country Preasident of DHL and CEO of Tiger Airways. She retired in the Philippines and moved to Washington State, where she spent the last 6 or so years of her life very much loved. She was a very passionate financial advisor at Thrivent.
Linda supported talented Filipino students through scholarship, in her quest to better the lives of Filipinos. From what she learned in the US, she is currently working on a legacy project to propose a bill in the Philippines, to provide better healthcare and financial well-being.
Linda is a devout Christian, a follower of Jesus, and a supporter of missionaries. Though being a career-woman, Linda single handedly raised her only child, Danica, and was committed to support her entire family. She loved Danica dearly. She is a loving aunt to Mark, Colin, John, Christian, Joehan, and CK. She met and loved Don, and they loved each other for the past three years. She loved to paint, garden, sing, and have fun with her friends. She is passionate about life and wouldn’t have it any other way.
For as long as we live, she will be loved and dearly missed. May her zest for life continue to live in all of us.
Rest in peace, Mom.
