Linda Marie Newman's Obituary
Linda was born to Bernice and Dean Herrington February 21, 1948, at St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma. She passed away September 30, 2005 at Manor Care in Gig Harbor, after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her father Dean, and is survived by her husband of 35 years, Donald K. Newman, mother Bernice Â"BeaÂ" Herrington, and sisters Betty (Herb Weston) and Nancy (Arthur Busier). She graduated from Franklin Pierce High School in 1966, and attended Washington State University. After she worked for 30 years for Quest Communications, she retired. Linda loved to ride horseback, read, hike, bike, travel, and work in the garden. There will be a memorial service at Park Lane Court Community Center, 2120 Â- 177th St. East, Spanaway, WA at 1:00 P. M., Sunday, October 9, 2005.
