Linda Manley's Obituary
Linda Lee (Dickinson) Manley went home to her Lord and Savior on
Sunday, December 28, 2025, following a long illness.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Cooper; grandchildren William and
Chloe of Las Vegas, and Danika of Oregon; and great-grandchild Charlotte
of Las Vegas. She is also survived by her sisters Kay, Vickie, and Jackie,
and her brother Bob, all of whom live locally, along with numerous nieces
and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Jon.
Born August 8, 1947, in Tacoma, Washington, to Merlin and Peggy
Dickinson, Linda grew up on a farm in Graham and graduated from Bethel
High School in 1966. She worked for many years in financial institutions
and later as an office assistant at a law firm. An avid reader, she cherished
her Bible and adventure novels and enjoyed collecting and trying new
recipes. Cooking, sharing meals, and planning family gatherings brought
her great joy.
Linda was a longtime member of Yelm Prairie Christian Church and
remained active in her faith by watching Sunday services from home when
health challenges limited her attendance.
Linda was known for her deep love for family and others, her kindness, and
her generous spirit. She gave freely of her time and was always willing to
help whenever she was able, never hesitating to put the needs of others
before her own. Her warm smile, caring heart, and thoughtful nature
touched everyone she met. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of love,
compassion, and cherished memories that will continue to live on through
her family and all who were blessed to know her. She will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held in June at Yelm Prairie Christian Church. Contact a family member for exact date/time.
