Linda Jane Ernst's Obituary
Linda Jane Ernst went to be with our Lord on February 3rd, 2006. She was born September 19th, 1938 to Chester and Dorothy Bliss.Linda is survived by her husband Robert Ernst, one sister, Shirley Sutor of Marysville, three sons and their families: Mike and Luann of Puyallup, Dan and Valerie of Puyallup, and Steve and Tori of Tacoma. Linda had eight grandchildren, and nephews and nieces living in the Puget Sound area. Bob and Linda were married for 48 years and are lifelong Tacoma residents.Linda was a graduate of Lincoln High School and Pacific Lutheran University. She was a Tacoma school teacher for 24 years at Fawcett Elementary. She served in her church, loved Christian music, and enjoyed playing the piano at home and church. She is remembered for family vacations, and making things for her grandchildren. Her hobbies were ceramics and crocheting. She was a very kind and generous woman and will be missed by all.Linda suffered a long illness and has been diligently cared for by her loving husband.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in LindaÂ's name to Olympic View Baptist Church, 4707 Elwood Drive West, University Place, WA 98466.Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 9th, 2006 in the Mountain View Celebration of Life Center.
