Linda Ann Harris' Obituary
Linda A. Harris, 53, passed away unexpectedly on April 4, 2019. She was born in Yakima on November 30, 1965 the daughter of Edgar Cone and Lydia Wolf, and was the sixth child of eight. She grew up in Seattle, Vashon Island, and Tacoma. She attended Chautauqua Elementary School, Vashon Island High School and Lincoln High School. She went on to receive her Legal Secretary degree from Bates Technical College, and started her career as a legal secretary with two different firms. Being diagnosed with Diabetes at a young age, Linda became involved with the Diabetes Association. Linda was an outgoing individual who was never judgmental, and she loved Jesus Christ. Linda was beautiful and kind, and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandkids. She could easily be described as one of the sweetest people on Earth, without a mean bone in her body. Linda enjoyed many things, especially reading and trips to the library, using her creativity making crafts, and singing. It can be said, that Linda had a magnetic personality, and her unique and infectious laugh will be one of the things missed most.
Linda is survived by her mother, Lydia; son, Henry (Alisa) Yango, II; daughter, Marie Scheibal; three grandchildren, Mariah, Henry III, and Tatiana; and siblings, Gina, Diana, Beverly, Karen, Candy, Steven, and Wayne. She is predeceased by her father, Edgar; and daughter, Anna Marie Yango.
A memorial service will be celebrated at 3pm on Friday, May 3, 2019, in the Aspen Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood. A reception will follow.
