Linda S. Catron's Obituary
Linda S. Catron was born September 12, 1947 and passed away on January 1, 2023 at the age of 75. She was born in Tacoma and later resided in Seattle and Spanaway. She graduated from Franklin Pierce High School.
Linda was a stay at home mom for several years while her daughters were young. Linda then went to work outside the home in retail, working 20+ years for the Bon Marche and Macy's and eventually retiring from their Home Furnishings department. Linda loved to dance and dabbled in a variety of sports including tennis, crewing, bowling and cycling. She was an avid collector of all types of dolls, and was an excellent seamstress and pie maker. Linda shared a special bond with animals, was devoted to her pets, and enjoyed visiting her neighbors and sharing photos and stories of her 'handsome grandsons' while on walks with her dogs Mack or Baby.
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle McGinty and Alicia Olsen, her sons in law Sean McGinty and Peter Olsen, and by her grandsons Maxwell Olsen and Jack McGinty. She was preceded in death by her parents, Suzanne L. Catron and Walter E. Catron, and by her brother John C. Catron.
Chapel services in remembrance of Linda will be held on January 22, 2023 at 11:30 am in the Mountain View Funeral Home Garden Chapel. The family invites her friends, neighbors and members of her community to join them.
