Lillian Margaret Wahlgren's Obituary
Lillian M. Wahlgren
1921 - 2009
Lillian went home to be with the Lord on October 5, 2009. She was born December 25, 1921 in Tacoma, WA, the daughter of Fred P. and Theodora Wahlgren. Spending her entire life in the Tacoma area after graduating from Stadium High School, she assumed the responsibilities with her brother Fred of operating the family-owned business Wahlgren's Floral. They remained in business for sixty-two years. Lillian enjoyed teaching floral design and frequently traveled to the East Coast to participate in floral design programs. She always looked forward to spending time at her vacation home in North Carolina and traveling with friends throughout the Southeast. Lillian had a caring heart and extended to others much kindness. Lillian is survived by her nephews Fred and David Wahlgren of Tacoma, and niece Julie Denney of Seattle. The family is grateful for the staff at Cascade Park Vista for the exceptional loving care Lillian received during her stay. Graveside service will be held Friday, October 9, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. at Mountain View Funeral Home. A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Cascade Park Vista.
