Willow Berntsen
I worked with Lillian at Collins Library. She worked at the library at a time when staff would gather in the staff lounge for treats and potlucks and to spend time with one another. She was warm, compassionate, helpful, and spoke her mind on occasion. For her retirement, our supervisor Peggy and I went around the campus to pick rhododendron flowers to create a lei for her, to which she was surprised and touched. I am saddened to hear of her passing. I want to extend my condolences to her family, may her memory live on with you.
